About

This page is a side project to my main (now defunct)photo page at : Laperm.WordPress.com. I noticed a keen interest in my cat photos but I didn’t want to spam it with photos of furballs and kittens :D. And I don’t want to paint myself into the corner of being a “only cat-photographer”

My wife and daughter have a cattery, so naturally I have a lot of related shots. In fact shooting cats (and kittens in particular) has been a good ground for me to develop my (humble) photo skills.

I am sorry about having to watermark the photos, but in the past I have been plagued by people using my photos for commercial stuff without my consent.

My aim with this site is to show the world the wonderful LaPerm cat (and to give something to all of you who likes cats) , and in a later stage I will add EMS coded tags (these are being used by FIFe catbreeders to specify breed and colour).

We were not familiar with the LaPerm breed. Your photographs are truly spectacular, and we enjoyed viewing all of them.
    Thank you.

Hi Krister, thank you for following my Photo Blog. I love cats but I’ve never heard of this breed. My daughter in law works for the Cat Protection charity here in UK and on rare occasions I’ve managed to photograph some of the cats awaiting adoption there. My best wishes to you ! Eileen

Hello Eileen, my daugher also works with cat protection/adoption , I’m happy that people are willing to put much effort into helping these poor abandoned animals. We’ve had several tiny fosterkittens here ; and it’s amazing how quick the mother cat accept them as one their own. – I might put up some of the photos of these adopted cats too.

All the best (And I am very sorry that I somehow managed to miss your comment ; it’s been nearly a month!)
